GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 404898
"%-m %-d" are showed instead of the localized string when display date in zh_CN and zh_TW locales on OpenSolaris
Last modified: 2007-03-10 05:15:08 UTC
Incorrect translation Application: gnome-panel Incorrect text: "%-m %-d" are GNU extensions, which are not supported by OpenSolaris. Should be: Use standard C flags instead. Please refer to bug 380843 and bug 402399 for discussion detail. These files should be changed: evolution-2.8.mo file-roller.mo gdm.mo gnome-applets-2.0.mo gnome-keyring-manager.mo gnome-panel-2.0.mo gnome-system-monitor.mo gnome-utils-2.0.mo nautilus.mo rhythmbox.mo
Reassign to Funda Wang instead. linux.net.cn was down for ages.
Most major linux distributions are support this style of placeholders. And the format is welcomed by the end users.
