Description Ramiro Estrugo 2001-09-10 00:33:23 UTC
Note that we currently display directory item counts where we would otherwise display directory sizes. So if we decide we can display directory sizes, it either needs to be an option (where you get item counts otherwise), or we need to think about displaying the item counts somewhere else.

This is easy to do now that we have a framework for it.

Setting all bugs to P6 to start official bug-prioritization plan. Please don't
set the priority to anything other than P6 unless you've got the gold seal of
approval for doing so.

Comment 1 Dave Bordoley [Not Reading Bug Mail] 2002-04-22 14:46:57 UTC
personally i find the directory counts useful, perhaps the size of the
folder could be showed in the properties dialog.
Comment 2 Aschwin van der Woude 2002-11-01 08:38:10 UTC
This still seem valid in the latest release, so I mark it as a Gnome2 bug.
Comment 3 Aschwin van der Woude 2003-05-02 17:23:04 UTC
Since this bug hasn't been picked up for very long.
And to me it isn't clear what is meant with directory-size, unless the
size in bytes as 'ls' reports is meant. Which is not very useful
information.

I am closing this bug.
