GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 400392
link to module translations
Last modified: 2007-05-11 21:58:30 UTC
it could be useful to put something like the following in the statuspage of the language status [M] Evince where the Evince link goes to the po file of the language, and the [M] to the module statistics
Exactly what I want to do as well. Though, I was considering making the name a link to the module page, and providing a separate download PO icon, but that's probably a bad idea since translators will need a PO file more often than a module page.
Created attachment 83975 [details] [review] Introduces download icons Use download.png to give download icons to each module. Does not show icon for the names of module sets (e.g GTK+). Icon to download .po. Link to go to module info. Untested
it lacks i18n, the rest seems fine
@Djihed: we need a link to the module page, download icon is of lower priority if we don't link to the module page (maybe using something like /usr/share/icons/gnome/16x16/stock/net/stock_link.png for the icon).
Patch links icon to .po and the name to the module page. You would just like to use the new icon? or reverse the links? If we reverse the links (i.e icon to module, name to .po) we will introduce an inconsistency when the name does not correspond to a po, in the case of group headers (GIMP for example).
Created attachment 87913 [details] Screenshot with download icons Hi, I plan to apply Djihed patch, slightly modified after testing it. I've attached a screenshot of the result (on my local instance). Is it OK?
I think it is good in this form, even though it breaks the old way, in that the link goes to its page rather than the .po. But I believe this is better.
Fixed in rev 362.
