Description Joachim Noreiko 2007-01-24 20:20:43 UTC
In most Gnome applications that use tabs (eg Gedit, Gaim), dragging a tab to the desktop creates a new window for that tab.
Comment 1 Christian Persch 2007-01-24 20:39:02 UTC
It was disabled because of a mozilla bug, see bug 303922. The upstream bug is https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=296002 .
Comment 2 Jochen Eppler 2007-07-25 21:37:43 UTC
It would be also quite useful to be able to drag a tab into an already existing epiphany window. I seem to remember something similar from galeon.
Comment 3 Dima 2008-06-05 16:23:26 UTC
How about doin this with WebKit backend? =D
Comment 4 Jonathon Jongsma 2009-09-28 20:26:56 UTC
This basically works in 2.28.0 (webkit) already (despite some issues like Bug 596397)
Comment 5 Jorge Kalmbach 2010-07-08 21:30:14 UTC
This works on 2.31.4, the related bug is already fixed.
Comment 6 Diego Escalante Urrelo (not reading bugmail) 2011-07-30 08:47:34 UTC
Works in 3.0; there's a crash in master though, but unrelated.
