GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 397171
UserComment from D80 not shown in metadabrowser
Last modified: 2007-08-02 12:55:23 UTC
The nikon D80 (and probably some others) let you set a user comment for all your pictures on camera. This comment is shown on the embedded metadata borwser and in eog, but f-spot does not display it.
we should be pulling it in as the description, I wonder if somehing it broken on the import step. Do you have and example image I can look at?
I'll shoot a image in small size and quality this evening, so I can attach it to bugzilla. Larry, if you have time right now, just ask for a big (4MP) image via IRC or email, I'll send it by email.
Created attachment 80417 [details] here's an image here's an image and some more comments. f-spot --view shows the UserComment, but once imported, the UserComment field is empty and there's no Photo comment neither...
Created attachment 92917 [details] [review] import UserComment fixed in r3276.
