Description Andrés G. Aragoneses (IRC: knocte) 2007-01-11 21:30:53 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I have two banshees installed: a stable (rpm) one and the current SVN. And always I try to run the SVN version, iPod is not shown. However the stable version shows it perfectly.

Debug information about my iPod can be found here:

Well, following trickv advice on IRC, I have uninstalled my banshee rpm's and tried to "sudo make install" the SVN version and it doesn't work too. I don't understand, because I already did this test about a month ago and it worked (this was the reason I was blaming 'make run'). Then I guess it's a regression on the iPod detection because with 0.11.3 it works flawlessly...

Please test this with the new podsleuth, ipod-sharp, and banshee svn as per here: http://abock.org/2007/10/09/dogfooding-banshees-new-ipod-support/

I haven't reproduced this behaviour in some time.
