Description Ghee Teo 2007-01-09 09:55:31 UTC
When one added gnome-pilot to the panel, bring up its preference box, one
see the option of
Execute when click "gpilotd-control-applet"

This seems rather senseless because if the user changes that to something else, it loses the functionalities as the pilot applet.

Also, it means that gnome-pilot will not be able to lock down because the user can change the command to gnome-terminal and the run any command one desires from then on.

At the minimum, remove that field.

gnome-pilot is not under active development anymore and has not seen code
changes for seven years. Its codebase has been archived:

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
