Description Jonathon Jongsma 2007-01-06 23:20:13 UTC
If you're searching for some text that's directly under the search dialog, it might be nice to move the dialog slightly so that the user can tell that something was highlighted and found.

I was just about to submit this exact same enhancement request. Thankfully I searched before submitting ;-)

This type of behavior can be found in WordPad within that "other OS", and would be a great addition to Gedit.

I don't know if you noticed, but this bug was filed against the Nemiver debugger, not gedit. if you want gedit to implement the same thing, I'm afraid you'll need to open a new bug for that project :)
Comment 3 Lupine 2008-05-21 15:01:59 UTC
yeah, thanks....I saw that right after I hit save changes....guess I should have tweaked my search results a little more.

But hey, hopefully if they implement it in one, they'll get it in the other :-)

Closing all open Nemiver tasks as this project does not seem to be maintained anymore. Please see https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/235#note_732192 for further information. Thanks!
