GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 388344
During entry <tab> should behave like <enter> but move to the right
Last modified: 2009-12-24 06:34:39 UTC
To end the editing operation of a cell, <enter> commits the changes to the cell and moves to the next cell below. <tab> should behave in a similar way but move the the next cell to the right/(or left for other languages). I would like: 1) select b2 2) enter "hello" then press tab => B2 has "hello" and cell C2 is selected ready for entry. --adrian
Ha! It actually does during first entry (as in my example above) but *not* when you go back and edit the entry 1) select b2 2) enter "hello" <return> 3) select b2 4) click between the ells 5) hit <tab> ==> nothing happens, should exit entry mode and move to the next cell horizontally --adrian
This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
