Description Sam Morris 2006-12-20 18:23:15 UTC

When trying to eject my iPod I get the message: "Unable to eject media" "eject: unable to open `/dev/sda2'".

If I run 'eject /dev/sda' by hand then /dev/sda{1,2} disappear and the iPod itself acceps that it has been ejected and stops displaying the 'do not disconnect' warning.

I'm not sure if Rhythmbox has anything to do with this, I'm guessing it's distribution specific?

If this bug happens on a Debian system, see this bug and check if you're running a linux-image or udev package that's affected.

Indeed, it doesn't happen on an Ubuntu system I have here. Thanks.

Good, I guess this bug can be closed as NOTGNOME then?
