Description Sebastian Dröge (slomo) 2006-12-13 22:57:59 UTC
Hi,
gst-ffmpeg (0.10.2) with latest releases of everything stutters when playing http://www.addict3d.org/videos/rgs-ilovesky.wmv in totem. This is always reproducible... but might also be a bug in the asf demuxer...

Bye
Comment 1 Tim-Philipp Müller 2006-12-14 16:46:56 UTC
Works fine for me with current releases, no stuttering here.

There seems to be occasional crackling in the sound, but I get that with mplayer too.
Comment 2 Sebastian Dröge (slomo) 2006-12-14 19:17:45 UTC
I'm talking about the video, not the sound :) It's probably best noticeable in the beginning with the flames that appear. In mplayer they're smooth, in totem-gst not although CPU usage is far below 50%.

Probably just another asfdemux bug as you said on IRC though :)
Comment 3 Filip Palm 2007-01-01 18:19:22 UTC
I see the same thing but with gst-pitfdll on Ubuntu Edgy, so its probably a bug in the asfdemux. :)
Comment 4 Tim-Philipp Müller 2007-05-11 07:36:35 UTC
This is fixed in asfdemux in gst-plugins-ugly CVS (worksforme at least).
