GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 384332
gParted livde-CD
Last modified: 2008-04-15 20:07:01 UTC
Please describe the problem: I want to increase my windows 2000 system partition. The filesystem is FAT32. I started the computer by the gParted liveCD. If I try to increase my partition I get this error message: "An error occured while applying the opperations. The following operation could not plied to disk. Resize/dev/hda1 from 14,74GB to 18,65GB see the details for mor information." details: "check filesystem on /dev/hda1 for errors and (if possible) fix them." If I check the filesystem I get an other error message: malloc: Can not allocate memory Steps to reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
That would be a gparted issue, or maybe an issue with the LiveCD distro.
please get us the releasenumber of gparted and the saved details.
Closing this bug since there has been no response to GParted's author Bart's comment #2. Martin, if this is still a problem, feel free to re-open this bug and provide additional details as Bart mentioned. Regards, Curtis Gedak
