Description Edward Hervey 2006-12-07 15:54:09 UTC
It is not obvious what people should do when they start PiTiVi if they want to actually start working.

Adding some text in the empty source-list and timeline explaining what people should do would help with that.

Ex:
SourceList : Click on 'Add' to add files to be used in the Timeline
Timeline: Drag your sources here

Ideas on better texts are welcome.
Comment 1 Julien MOUTTE 2006-12-07 15:56:00 UTC
Basic timeline : "Start working with your project by dragging clips here"
Source list : "Import your clips by dragging them here or importing sources"

	* pitivi/ui/timeline.py:
	Show an explanation text in the timeline when it is empty so new users
	know what to do.
