What's Up?

Sometimes when I sync my Palm Zire 72, e-d-s crashes during the eCalendar part of the sync.

I've attached the debug info below. I'm not sure how complete it is. I have evolution-data-server-debuginfo installed, but might need to install debuginfo for other packages.

Version information.

I'm running FC6, including updates-testing.

evolution-data-server-1.8.2-1.fc6
gnome-pilot-2.0.15-1.fc6
pilot-link-0.11.8-16

Can I reproduce this?

Most times, yes. Every now and then the sync just works, but if it doesn't then it always crashed in the same section of the sync (eCalendar).

Further Information.

Ask me if you need more information.

I've been seeing something similar with Ubuntu (gnome-pilot 2.0.14 and pilot-link 0.12.1) and e-d-s 1.8.2. Very frustrating, having finally ironed out the niggles in gp 2.0.14 and released patches, to find crasher on the evo side.

I'll try and attach a trace when I get a chance. For me, I'd set my conduit settings to 'copy from PDA', which causes all appointments to get deleted, and then readded from the PDA. One of the calendar file backend ops crashed, with a pvl_head that de-referenced junk. Sorry for the lack of detail. As I said I'll try and update as it's easily reproducible (I often find that the first sync is okay, subsequent ones crash).

I'm willing to help test patches, etc.
