Totem could not show a webcam stream

Please describe the problem: Following a link (rtsp://helix2.nyctmc.org:7070/broadcast/Camera09.rm) from GoogleEarth, Totem started but halted showing the message: Internal GStreamer error: negotiation problem. Please file a bug at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter-bug.cgi?product=GStreamer Steps to reproduce: 1. Start GoogleEarth, turn on the "Google Earth Community" layer 2. Fly to webcam, 6th avenue, 34th street, NY 3. Click on the webcam, then on the link in the pop-up. 4. when prompted for an external helper application, click "Launch" to start totem. Actual results: Totem starts, but then an error dialog pops up: Internal GStreamer error: negotiation problem. Please file a bug at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter-bug.cgi?product=GStreamer Expected results: The webcam stream shoul dbe displayed in the Totem window. Does this happen every time? I have repeated the problem five times over two days. Other information:
Hi Keith, thanks for taking the time to report this. What's your gst-plugins-ugly version? You can find out by typing the line gst-inspect-0.10 playbin | grep Version on a command line (=gnome-terminal window). Could you run totem from the command line like this: export GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1 export GST_DEBUG=*:5 totem rtsp://helix2.nyctmc.org:7070/broadcast/Camera09.rm 2> dbg.log [... wait for error, then quit totem ...] gzip dbg.log and then attach the dbg.log.gz file to this bug report please?
