Press [4] [Mod] [3] [=] => The result (1) is correct
Now press [2] [*] [2] [=] [Mod] [3] [0] => Malformed expression

I think this behavior is not intentional.

Confirmed. I also don't consider this a minor problem so adjusting the 
severity to normal. This is only a problem in Arithmetic Precedence mode.
Transferring to Sami for further evaluation.
