Description Sven Herzberg 2006-11-26 01:10:53 UTC
We should have a simple animation system that allows people to develop their own animations and maybe even provide some default animations (like eg. color fading or cursor blinking). This would remove the burden of messing around with asynchronous functions from the application developer and trying to reduce the necessary amount of code for these features.

You may want to take a look at http://andrunko.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/gtk/. Check my blog entry about it (http://andrunko.blogspot.com/2007/09/creating-transitions-with-gtk.html). If you are interested, please let me know. Ideas are welcome.

Criawips development has been stalled and it has been unmaintained for a few years now. Maintainers don't have future development plan so i am closing bugs as WONTFIX. Please feel free to reopen the bugs in future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development.
