GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 378865
Windows media transcoding borks with audio
Last modified: 2006-12-29 16:55:55 UTC
Transcoding a WMV to Ogg/theora/vorbis works, but the resulting file has severe audio problems. Totem ouputs errors like this : ** (totem:7282): WARNING **: Compensating for audio synchronisation problems [gstbaseaudiosink.c(696): gst_base_audio_sink_render (): /play/abin/audiosinkbin/audio-sink/bin1/autoaudiosink0/autoaudiosink0-actual-sink-alsa: Unexpected discontinuity in audio timestamps of more than half a second (0:00:00.510725623), resyncing]
might be related to the absence of audiorate/videorate in the encoding bins.
Christian, could you try again with latest cvs. I've added audiorate, which should solve those issues... even though it's not the best way to do it.
ok, works fine with latest CVS
