I've got some reports Pan 0.118 seems to sometime generate References: header with a trailing space at the end of the field (only when there is only one reference, otherwise, line wrapping hides this problem).

Unfortunately, Thunderbird seems to not parse this correctly, causing threads to appear broken. Other news readers seems to handle it correctly (RFC 1036 doesn't say anything about this behaviour) but it is probably better to try to not put trailing space in this case.
