GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 370111
in german beagle, keyboard shortcuts overlap
Last modified: 2006-11-09 15:41:06 UTC
I use a localized (German) Gnome desktop. In the main beagle search window, there are two items that can be reached via a "alt+s" keyboard shortcut: the "Suche" (search) item in the menu, and the "Suchen" input box to enter a search query. One of them should be changed to use a different shortcut.
What distribution are you running? What version of gnome/mono/beagle? This might be a packaging/default configuration bug.
This is on (up to date) debian testing. Gnome is a mixture of 2.14 and 2.16 (they are currently in the process of upgrading to 2.16 as far as I can tell). mono -V says 1.1.17.1, beagle is 0.2.11. If this is likely to be a debian problem, please tell me, and I'll report it to them.
Hmmm, yeah, Its probably more up the Debian alley. In english, its 'S' and 'L', check with the Debian Germany guys, and let us know what they say.
This isn't a Debian issue. Translations are handled by the GNOME l10n team. Reassigning to them.
Fixed in CVS. The fix will go into the next patch release. Thank you for your bug report.
