Following combination have problem with Pango

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
pango-1.14.6-3.el5

How reproducible:


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open gedit
2. Copy and Paste text or start SCIM with Tamil Typewriter keyboard and press
given keys
3. Copy and paste data in kedit (QT application)

This is a bug about split matra of all Indic scripts.
The rendering of Cons+0x09C7+0x09BE, Cons+0x09C7+0x09D7,Cons+0x0B47+0x0B56, Cons+0x0B47+0x0B3E, Cons+0x0B47+0x0B57,Cons+0x0BC6+0x0BBE, Cons+0x0BC7+0x0BBE, Cons+0x0BC6+0x0BD7,Cons+0x0C46+0x0C56,Cons+0x0CBF+0x0CD5, Cons+0x0CC6+0x0CD5, Cons+0x0CC6+0x0CD6,Cons+0x0CC6+0x0CC2,Cons+0x0CC6+0x0CC2+0x0CD5,Cons+0x0D46+0x0D3E, Cons+0x0D47+0x0D3E, Cons+0x0D46+0x0D57,Cons+0x0DD9+0x0DCA, Cons+0x0DD9+0x0DCF, Cons+0x0DD9+0x0DCF+0x0DCA,Cons+0x0DD9+0x0DDF, are all wrong.

Rendering of Tamil letters is not proper.

Given below is the similar situation in Kubuntu Edgy where the fonts are rendered properly.

This bug seems to be currently fixed. None of the split matras in any of the Indic scripts have such a problem. This Bug should be CLOSED.
