Please describe the problem:
thats the file: http://www.mathematik.tu-darmstadt.de/lehrmaterial/WS2006-2007/FGI_I/u2.pdf

on trying to print it gnome-cups-manager shows up but then sets the state to "job-stopped" and the prining dialog says "/usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip failed". Prining to file produces an unreadable file.

Since other pdf files work, I just want to know whether to blame you or my prof...

pdftops from poppler head creates an invalid ps with this pdf file, so it should be a poppler bug. Could you please follow these instructions to help get this bug fixed?.
