Steps to reproduce selection transforming bug:

1. Make some selection (elliptical region for example)
2. Pick "Rotate the layer or selection" from toolbar
3. In transform tool option's dialog set 'Affect:Transform selection'

Experiment with preview modes now. It looks like 'Outline' and 'Image' show
only bounding box of that selection and 'Grid' and 'Image+Grid' show only
grids. Selection itself is not shown using any of available preview modes.
