Description Frederic Peters 2006-10-14 14:53:23 UTC
freedesktop-2.18 moduleset refers to dbus-glib 0.70 and dbus-python 0.70 but
those versions can't be used in a jhbuild environment.

dbus-glib: fails to install some headers (this is also relevant outsite jhbuild).

dbus-python: doesn't use pkg-config to get dbus and dbus-glib linking flags
(this is mostly relevant to jhbuild).

Both issues are fixed in 0.71 releases.

Could the moduleset be updated ? (as well as ExternalDependencies for dbus-glib
problem).
Comment 1 Elijah Newren 2006-10-14 17:52:42 UTC
Weird; 0.70 built for me for both modules. Was that due to an unclean prefix?
Comment 2 Frederic Peters 2006-10-14 18:00:32 UTC
Most probably since dbus-glib-0.70/dbus/Makefile.am definitely lacks files
in libdbus_glib_HEADERS and those files are required for building other
components (dbus-python, hal, etc.).

Comment 3 Elijah Newren 2006-10-17 05:11:14 UTC
Indeed. I've updated http://live.gnome.org/TwoPointSeventeen/ExternalDependencies and the freedesktop-2.18.modules moduleset. Thanks for catching this.
