Description Jonh Wendell 2006-10-14 12:03:32 UTC
According with ubuntu bug http://launchpad.net/bugs/65984, it would be nice if we had an option to hide notification area separator (the vertical bar with little dots).

Actually, the original bug reporter wants no separator.

What do you think about it?

I think it's a good idea, Jonh. The bar is very ugly. :)

I think besides providing the option to hide the separator, there can be a few separator types, all having different styles.

what I mean is , let the options be:
1) None = no separator
2) DoubleDotted = default current separator
3) SingleLineSolid = a separator consisting of a single line, like |
4) Curved = a separator having a curved line, like (
5) Angled = a separator having an angled line, like <
