Description Carlos Garnacho 2006-10-05 16:24:30 UTC
g-s-t on HEAD uses liboobs to access system-tools-backends, I'm attaching a patch to make modemlights do the same

I think this is already fixed (as per comments in #521595).

Any gnome-applets dev can confirm this please?

It's not. this is about porting modemlights to liboobs, not to port it to a newer s-t-b like in that bug.

Por modemlights to liboobs

This updated patch based in Carlos' one makes modemlights use liboobs. It's against gnome-applets 2.28.0 and builds against a recent liboobs (2.22.1). The work has been by several people and the patch comes from the Debian package.

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-applets/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
