With zoom 1:1 a eraser stroke starting in Gimp window and finishing out, crash Gimp.
Last modified: 2008-01-15 13:12:25 UTC
Inside Gimp ask for zoom 1:1. With eraser make a stroke starting on the Gimp window and ending out of Gimp window. Gimp crashes. "gdb gimp" freezes the computer when action described is made. For this reason I cannot send the output of gdb.
What version of GTK+, what X server, what graphics driver? Can you try to use a different graphics driver?
amorales, On a Linux system you can generally get a stack trace even when the gui is frozen, by following the procedure described in bug #164272, comment #5.
Dear friends: I am using suse 10.1 with the latest nvidia driver and X system version 6.9.0. The output of gdb is: Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
