Description Christopher Lee 2006-09-29 13:23:44 UTC
I was checking to see if my laptop would explode ;-), so I pasted the following into deskbar.

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=BATT-LENOVO

Opening the location http://... was not offered as an option for this input, and it should have.

Also, as a side note, I think that if a url is entered into the deskbar input, opening the location should be the default action. It seems far less likely that a person pasting a url wants to do a beagle or google-define search for a url than to open it!
