GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 358054
pwlib-1.10.2.tar.gz failed checksum test
Last modified: 2006-09-28 00:22:11 UTC
Please describe the problem: see summary garnome's checksum for pwlib-1.10.2.tar.gz (1485529 bytes) per the checksums file : 9215a13cd4671ao22c1ea1db8272991d checksum on the ftp'd file using md5sum : 05ad5b279ed2053eb7ef0befff9166d0 BTW, That's a lot of numbers to type by hand ! Steps to reproduce: 1. Execute make paranoid-install without having pwlib already installed 2. 3. Actual results: The make comes to a halt Expected results: ??? I expect garnome to continue until successfully installed Does this happen every time? yes Other information: garnome is cool but I sure wish that I could get rid of nls.
Fixed in CVS. To proceed run make makesum which will regenerate the checksum. The problem was caused by the site maintainer uploading a new copy with the same version number and a different md5sum. -Joseph
