Description Vassilis Pandis 2006-09-27 14:52:57 UTC
Hello,

this is a bug originally reported in the Ubuntu bug tracker (http://launchpad.net/31011 )

In gnome-sound-properties, under the sound tab, there is a "Default Sound Device" listing. An Ubuntu user points out that:

"There is no point in the "Default sound card" option unless the computer actually has more than one sound card, this will have the advantage of shrinking the dialogue for most users."

It would be nice if this were fixed. Thanks in advance!

the soundcard selector is an Ubuntu patch, marking as NOTGNOME
