Description Marco Cabizza 2006-09-26 17:10:14 UTC
Forwarding bug #383411 from the Debian BTS

~~

If I insert a CD, a cddb lookup gets performed. If I eject the CD and insert
a different one, the cddb data doesn't get updated for the new disk.

Restarting the CD player for the new disk behaves as expected.

~~

Confirmed for 2.14 and 2.16

Ciao
~marco

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.

vumeter, cddb, and gnome-cd have been removed since GNOME 2.28. They have long been abandonned, and it's now time to close your bug that will most probably never be fixed.

By upgrading to a newer version of GNOME you could receive bug fixes and new functionality. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain a newer version of GNOME.
