Description Sebastien Bacher 2006-09-26 09:27:12 UTC
That bug has been opened on https://launchpad.net/bugs/43629

"When burning a CD, the "Writing" dialog shows the current step, but doesn't show how many steps there are in total. I would like to see it show me how many steps there are in total."
Comment 1 William Jon McCann 2006-09-29 18:38:49 UTC
I agree in principle. The problem is that with our backends (cdrecord etc) we
a) don't know how many steps there will be
b) don't know the time required for each step until it is started
c) don't get progress for all steps (eg. blanking gives no progress)

So we're kinda stuck for now.

nautilus-cd-burner has been replaced by Brasero in the GNOME 2.26 release. If your bug still applies to Brasero, please feel free to re-open the bug, and reassign it to brasero itself.
