GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 355889
No notification whatsoever that the burner is doing 'something' when you pressed 'Burn to disc'.
Last modified: 2009-03-08 21:43:05 UTC
Display something; a percentage bar, a pop-up, that says that the nautilus-cd-burner is processing. Other information: I tried to burn MP3s; 105 items, total 436,4 Mb CPU is on 100% for about 10 seconds. Probably doing something that is necessary.
It went event worse here :/ Writing an ISO right-clicking on the file has the same behavior, in fact, I pressed twice before realizing (via ps) that nautilus-cd-burner was actually doing something (decompressing/indexing/? files inside ISO image?)... The "write disc" window appeared after 2 minutes of not doing nothing (I know it was, but apparently). A possible solution is also proposed in launchpad: https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/nautilus-cd-burner/+bug/57772 Thanks

I don't see when in using nautilus-cd-burner this problem would be happening I'm afraid. Could you explain this differently so I could understand what it is it's doing in the background?
It probably obsolete by now. I am thus closing this issue. Downstream confirmed that it's not an issue anymore.
