Description Yevgen Muntyan 2006-09-08 13:51:36 UTC
If you use two displays with the same client machine, gedit treats it in same way as single display case. To reproduce, do this:
1) Get two displays, e.g. start two X servers;
2) open terminals on both;
3) start gedit in the first one, it stays attached to the terminal;
4) start gedit in the second one, it opens a new window, but it happens in the same process;
5) close the first terminal.

Result: gedit dies with the terminal, and closes on the second display too.

Yevgen: can you review it again please?
Comment 2 Yevgen Muntyan 2008-02-14 17:15:29 UTC
Still present with gedit 2.18.2, don't know about later versions.

Mass-closing of all gedit bugzilla tickets.

Special "code" to find again all those gedit bugzilla tickets that were open before the mass-closing:

2bfe1b0590a78457e1f1a6a90fb975f5878cb60064ccfe1d7db76ca0da52f0f3

By searching the above sha256sum in bugzilla, the gedit contributors can find again the tickets. We may be interested to do so when we work on a specific area of the code, to at least know the known problems and possible enhancements.

We do this mass-closing because bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org.
