GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 354482
Show "hidden" images
Last modified: 2007-07-17 19:07:35 UTC
Gthumb 2.6.x cannot show hidden images. Also there is no option for being able to show hidden files and directories. For example, I have an image named ".image.png" located in $HOME/.tmp I open gthumb, there is no option for viewing hidden files or directories, so I write the location in the location bar: $HOME/.tmp Now I am in the proper directory, but no image is shown because it is a hidden file. Other viewers like eog can show hidden files, but I prefer use gthumb :-) Thanks a lot
Still valid for gthumb-2.8.1
Fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major release. Thank you for your bug report.
Thanks a lot :-)
Still valid for 2.10.1. "Show hidden files" works only for hidden directories, hidden images are still ignored by gthumb :-/ Thanks a lot :-)
It should work correctly when 2.10.6 is released (or svn rev 1792+). - Mike
Well, thanks a lot :-)
