Description Torsten Schoenfeld 2006-09-05 15:10:40 UTC
The location entry should support tab completion for URLs. Galeon used to support this and I found it quite useful. Example application: you want to go to a page on live.gnome.org. You know what it's called; say, Bugmaster. So you start typing "live.gn" into the location bar and the history popup appears. Unfortunately, the Bugmaster page is not in your history anymore. It would be quite handy if you could now hit tab and the entry then contained "http://live.gnome.org", ie. the longest common substring of all URLs that start with "live.gn", modulo the protocol part.
