A dvi file that fails with evince but works with xdvi

I forgot to say that I had this problem with previous versions of Evince.

Thanks. :-)

What's wrong with it? Can you attach a screenshot? Although, it might be 64-bit problem

The result I get with the file I send before

So here it is. Sorry I didn't think it would be interesting to send the result. So this is the view I get. Thanks.

Marking fixed. This document renders just fine with Evince 0.6.1 and poppler 0.5.4 (cairo).
Comment 5 David Boucher 2006-11-04 22:48:11 UTC
I have now Evince 0.6.1 and poppler 0.5.4 and my result is always the same : very bad. I work with a 64-bit arch, maybe this is the problem.

Comment 6 Wouter Bolsterlee (uws) 2006-11-04 22:53:38 UTC
Ok, I'll reopen this bug and hopefully someone with a 64 bit box pops up.

Result given by evince

When a letter is well displayed, it's always well displayed. The result for a "bad letter" is always the same but... bad.
Comment 9 David Boucher 2006-11-05 10:59:42 UTC
I have downloaded the cvs version of evince, if you guide me, maybe I could help a little more.

Comment 10 David Boucher 2006-11-05 15:48:38 UTC
Sorry for all the noise, I have compiled the CVS version and tried it. All my dvi files are displayed correctly with it. So I suppose the next release of evince will work correctly...

Thanks.
Comment 11 Carlos Garcia Campos 2006-11-05 15:54:18 UTC
No problem, thank you for your help. I'm going to close this as fixed then.
