Please describe the problem:
In gnome-volume-controll, user can use left/right key to change the master sound volume.
but in gnome mixer applet, left/right key doesnot work

Steps to reproduce:
1. click mixer applet
2. press left/right key
3. 


Actual results:
nothing happend

Expected results:
sound volume changes

Does this happen every time?
yes
