Last modified: 2008-11-16 10:16:06 UTC
Steps to reproduce: Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. Normal startup of evolution Expected Results: No crash during startup. How often does this happen? 7 out of 10 times. Additional Information: Also problems with evolution shell losing connection with the exchange back-end and consuming ~100% CPU upon startup. Will file additional bug. Other information:
Thanks for the bug report. Unfortunately, that stack trace is not very useful in determining the cause of the crash. Can you get us one with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so.
New stack trace with evolution (and components) compiled with: CFLAGS="-march=pentium-m -O1 -g" FEATURES="nostrip" Hope it's more helpful. /Stefan Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/evolution-2.6' Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1". `system-supplied DSO at 0xffffe000' has disappeared; keeping its symbols. Does this still happen with 2.22 or 2.24? If not, it's probably OBSOLETE.
Indeed; this is a old bug and have vanished with newer versions of evolution. I'm marking it as obsolete.
