it would be good if the command line information was more detailed and included:
Version
Distributor
Build Date

having this extra information at the command line helps compensate for the fact that the text in the dialog cannot be copied and pasted, see bug 125313

Unfortunately, we can not change the output of --version. I added a --gnome-version argument, though.
