Description Matthias Clasen 2006-08-18 16:11:40 UTC
it would be nice if flat progressbars would work,
since the Clearlooks-Olive theme has nearly unreadable text
in progressbars with the candy style.

Changed in CVS. Screenshot at http://www.stellingwerff.com/cl-cairo/insensitive1.png .

Does this work for you, Matthias?
Comment 2 Richard Stellingwerff 2006-09-02 12:55:31 UTC
Okay, I accidently commented on the wrong bug report. Sorry about that!

This bug has also been reported at https://launchpad.net/gtk-engines/+bug/18671 marking as confirmed.
Comment 4 Andrea Cimitan 2007-06-01 10:19:37 UTC
We have discussed this before, I think this is FIXED, since the "candy progressbar" was dropped by Richard in Cairo but now we have a more solid/usable ones.
On the Ubuntu's launchpad someone asked on a flat progressbar without stripes... this is not difficult to implement but, as far as I know, clearlooks _never_ had that progressbar style (and it should look bad)
And at last you can always change the text color on the progressbar if it becomes unreadable.
