Description Srinivasa Ragavan 2006-08-07 10:51:34 UTC
When ever I start my evolution, the immediate thing is that, it refreshes the folder, gets the summaries, downloads the messages and then only show my message list. My messagelist and preview is empty till all of them is over.

It is awesomly slow, and in efficient IMO. The message list should be filled from the cache first and then only the refresh/download should happen. IIRC it wasnt like that earlier and something is broken recently.

I see this in stable also.

I can observer this too -most likely a regression from one of the recent commits.

It is due to the above patch. We need to address the deadlock issues fixed by that patch.

This issue has been fixed. The patch was approved for a hard-code freeze break by the release team and has been committed.
