GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 350210
Change defaul font color for headers of articles with no score
Last modified: 2011-12-03 18:14:46 UTC
Would like to see an option to allow the default font color for No Score to be changed from something other than black.
FWIW, the default font color is set as part of the gtk color scheme. If you have GNOME changing its theme should change pan as well. If you have KDE, ensure the color settings checkbox for making other apps look like KDE is checked, and it should do the same. If you need further help and/or want to set pan differently than your other apps, post a request to the pan-users mailing list and I can post some more details and/or my (highly customized) set of gtkrc files (keeping them from cluttering this bug). Chances are I'd have had to find another news client if that couldn't be customized, as I /hate/ the gtk defaults! Duncan
Heh - we've already discussed this on pan-users :-) http://www.mail-archive.com/pan-users@nongnu.org/msg01699.html I'd like to change the font color in Pan without changing the color in every gtk+ app, basically. Ideally, every type of message would be able to have it's own color - but I'm not greedy. As was noted, old pan used to do it. I know that some features (such as my beloved New vs Unread messages) may not come back but figure it doesn't hurt to ask :)
