GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 349313
Panel crashes when trying to load GNOME sensors applet
Last modified: 2007-06-30 11:01:06 UTC
I tried adding the GNOME sensors applet to the panel. This results in repeated crashes and bug-buddy coming up again and again, only to tell me that the component no longer exists when I try to submit the crash info. Here is the stack trace: Distribution: Mandriva Linux release 2007.0 (Cooker) for i586 Gnome Release: 2.15.90 2006-07-25 (Mandriva) BugBuddy Version: 2.15.90 Memory status: size: 36003840 vsize: 0 resident: 36003840 share: 0 rss: 17989632 rss_rlim: 0 CPU usage: start_time: 1154265468 rtime: 0 utime: 23 stime: 0 cutime:21 cstime: 0 timeout: 2 it_real_value: 0 frequency: 0 Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-panel' Using host libthread_db library "/lib/i686/libthread_db.so.1". `shared object read from target memory' has disappeared; keeping its symbols. Definitely not a panel bug. Maybe bonobo or ORBit2. Can you still reproduce? If yes, you can choose between the two and reassign :-)
Doesn't happen in 2.17.x any more.
