Description Jaime Frutos Morales 2006-07-29 14:24:37 UTC
It would be great if Nautilus shows Creative Commons licenses in the file info dialog. It would fit in the basic page or the file specific page, but since not all files with license have an specific page in the notebook, I think it would be better to show the license in the basic page.

This web shows the metadata of the files whith license embeded:

http://wiki.creativecommons.org/Embedding_Specifications

An extension in python was written for Nautilus. Maybe it could be integrated in the file info page.

This is not something we want to do in the core of nautilus, and would be indeed well-suited for an extension.

Closing as WONTFIX.
