Description Sebastien Bacher 2006-07-29 13:47:25 UTC
That bug has been described on https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/51670

"When closing a folder, the opened folder icon stays for around two seconds then changes back to the closed folder icon. In nautilus 2.14.x this action was instant.
...
I just noticed that it works flawlessly after around three seconds but if you open and close it quicker the described delay kicks in."

On my GNOME 2.15.90 edgy the folder icons doesn't change after some seconds, it just keep being displayed as open

This bug was reported against a version which is not supported any more. Developers are no longer working on this version so there will not be any bug fixes for it.
Can you please check again if the issue you reported here still happens in a recent version of GNOME and update this report by adding a comment and adjusting the 'Version' field?

Again thank you for reporting this and sorry that it could not be fixed for the version you originally used here.

Without feedback this report will be closed as INCOMPLETE after 6 weeks.
