Description Øystein Gisnås 2006-07-27 15:00:21 UTC
When using Evolution autocompletion only the private address book seems to be taken into consideration. Both my private and work address books are enabled in Evolution's autocompletion preferences, and they work just fine when composing an e-mail from Evolution.

The request is to add autocompletion for the address books selected for autocompletion in Evolution.

This bug was originaly reported at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=367687

Patch adding support for multiple address books

This patch is a rewrite of the code that pull contacts from evolution-data-server. It pulls contacts from all address books marked for autocompletion in evolution settings. There is also a simplification and improvement on how addresses are displayed. For example, if first name or surename is missing, there is no longer excess whitespace or commas. In addition, some memory leaks were fixed and valgrind+refcnt were run.

Will this patch be applied and a new nautilus-sendto released? Users on https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/nautilus-sendto/+bug/41915 report it to fix the issue.

Hum - I just tried it with the aptch and it does not crash for me anymore, but I can't access both addressbooks either.

Did you mark the second addressbook for autocompletion in the evolution settings?
