To reproduce:

1. Start pitivi
2. click add, choose vilanova_presentation.ogg
3. drag presentation to timeline
4. select Project: New Project from the optionmenu

Expected: new project plays
Actual: some kind of deadlock, the ui won't even repaint

i should mention that *everything* is up to date, on down to gstreamer.

I'm not getting the ui deadlock anymore. But it's not all green.

* When dropping the video on the timeline and setting it to play, everything's fine. (optional step, the following will fail even if not playing from the beginning).
* Seeking won't work though.

Works perfectly with latest cvs of everything. Marking as fixed.
