GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 347605
Thoggen encoding fails after ca. 4 minutes
Last modified: 2006-07-15 15:13:16 UTC
Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Thoggen, Debian Unstable. 2. Start encoding a DVD in full resolution (720x576+quality63) 3. watch the crash (only of Gstreamer, Thoggen alive). Stack trace: *** libdvdread: CHECK_VALUE failed in nav_read.c:207 *** *** for dsi->dsi_gi.zero1 == 0 *** *** libdvdread: CHECK_VALUE failed in nav_read.c:207 *** *** for dsi->dsi_gi.zero1 == 0 *** *** libdvdread: CHECK_VALUE failed in nav_read.c:207 *** *** for dsi->dsi_gi.zero1 == 0 *** :: ========= ERROR ========= :: th-job.c:1321: Could not read from resource. Thanks for your bug report. However, the Thoggen version in debian unstable is still based on the now outdated GStreamer-0.8, which is not maintained any longer (we just don't have the man power to do that, sorry). There hasn't been a Thoggen release for GStreamer-0.10 yet I'm afraid, but hopefully that's not too far away (the SVN version already works with 0.10). Closing bug as OBSOLETE, please wait for a GStreamer-0.10 based Thoggen release and file a new bug if you still have problems with that. Thanks! (Do you know if the DVD has some kind of additional copy protection like ARCOSS?)
