EOG should know when a USB device gets removed so it can display a folder which is not on the USB device.

Sven: hmm, i think this is not necessary since the picture is still displayed after ejecting. So why we should want this feature? 

If you are in the conviction that this is the pain in the ass, please change severity to enhancement. If you do not think so, I'll close this.
